Connect an AI assistant

Link ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant to GB Restoration so it can find and read our articles for you. You sign in with your own account, so it sees exactly what you can: full articles for subscribers, previews otherwise.

Connect

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Apps settings and turn on Developer mode (read the notice shown). If it isn't available, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the New plugin dialog.
  3. Enter the name “GB Restoration” and paste the connection address above.
  4. Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connection), then click Create.
  5. Sign in to GB Restoration and approve the connection when asked.
  6. Turn the app on from the chat box, then ask ChatGPT to use GB Restoration.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's connector form — the name and address are filled in for you.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose “Add custom connector”, name it “GB Restoration” and paste the address.
  4. Sign in to GB Restoration and approve the connection when asked.
  5. Turn the connector on from the chat box, then ask Claude to use GB Restoration.

Claude Code

  1. Run this one line in a terminal:

  2. Start Claude Code, type /mcp, and sign in to GB Restoration from that menu.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use GB Restoration.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Add a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it “GB Restoration” and paste the connection address above.
  4. Sign in to GB Restoration and approve the connection when asked.
  5. Turn the connection on, then ask the assistant to use GB Restoration.

Refresh after we add new features

Assistants remember what they can do, so refresh the connection to pick up anything new.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select GB Restoration.
  2. Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
  3. If the connection address has changed, delete the app and connect again with the new address.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use GB Restoration.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select GB Restoration.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the address has changed, remove the connector and connect again with the new address.
  4. Ask Claude to use GB Restoration.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest features when it connects.
  2. If the address has changed, run claude mcp remove gb-restoration, then run the command above again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use GB Restoration.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP or connector settings.
  2. Select the GB Restoration connection.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload, or reconnect it.
  4. If the address has changed, paste the new one from above.
  5. Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use GB Restoration.
